Is Religion A Blessing or Curse For Africans

Religion is a system of belief that was brought to Africa, and Nigeria in particular, before now, our people have their beliefs and a way of worshipping God. I am not well informed about how other Africans worship theirs Gods or how their belief system works, so, I will only talk about the Igbos.
Igbos believe that every individual has their own God() and then One almighty God, We believe that  deities have powers to punish whosoever that does wrong and Boom, Religion was brought to us, and since then, Africa lost itself, people now commit all sorts and nothing happens as a consequence.

Religion is a curse for Africans:

Religion is not even meant to save Africans but to destroy Africans. Lets start from the bible, The story  recorded in Exodus about the freedom from Egypt is there only for some reasons.

1. To make Africans hate Egypt from Childhood so that they won't have interest to research of its glory.
2. To create a stereotype against anything Black as the word Egypt is originally from the Greek word "Egyptois" which means "black people".
3. Statements like "The Egyptian you see today, we shall see them no more" is like a curse  they made us affirm on ourselves everyday because it's real meaning is: This black people you see today, you shall see them no more.

The bible describe Satan as Black and Jesus as white.

No black man is a saint, no African man is a saint even when Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi has passed all the vibe check of been a saint, we are all acting busy, because he is a black man.

In my opinion, If truly Religion/ Christianity is a good thing, African/ blacks wouldn't hear about it
