Dr Mike Okonkwo - WELCOMES YOU TO YOUR YEAR OF GREATER GLORY

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts”.  Haggai 2:9 (KJV)
Dearly beloved, with Jesus’ joy I welcome you to the start of another year. I know that 2013 came with its challenges, Many people wondered how they will survive the year, but I am glad that you pulled through. Touch yourself, you are still around. The devil could not get rid of you. Yes, he tried, but in it all you have the victory.

On this first day of the year, I have come with a word from God for you: this is your year of greater glory. God will do for you incredible things in righteousness. You might have been laughed at, mocked and ridiculed, but I dare you to believe God today, a new day is dawn for you. God will cause you to laugh and they that hear will laugh with you. Your story is just about to change. But guess what? It is not by power, nor by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord. However, don’t stand in idleness, don’t fold your hands to the back, rather take these words back to God in prayer. Stay in His presence, let Him give you the blue print for the year.


While I agree that the best time to plan for the year is before the year begins, but if you did not take time to plan the year last month, don’t feel condemned, the Kenyan proverb says “the morning starts when you wake up”. So wake up now, get into God’s presence, take these words and pray like a man or woman from another world. Don’t stop until you hear His voice concerning you and when you do, don’t think you are a super human and will remember it all, write it down. Begin to meditate over it and God will bring it to pass.
Remember, this is your year of greater glory, but it will not fall on you like a bag of cherries. Roll up your sleeves, get to work and God will bless the works of your hands and honour His word in your life.
