its maiden Exhibition in July this year is calling for registration for another
edition tagged “YEEX For Women”. YEEX Nigeria has a mission to provide young
entrepreneurs a platform for growth by giving them an opportunity to attain

YEEX For Women is a unique
opportunity for young women between the ages of 18 and 35, who are creative,
ambitious, independent and have unique products and services to offer.
Its objectives are:

To promote gender equality for women in the society and provide a
level playing ground for young women entrepreneurs

To identify women with exceptional products and creativity, guide
them accordingly and provide them financing opportunity
·
To promote local enterprise and growth of women-owned businesses
and to provide networking opportunities for growth in business.
Those who
have worked with us include: Access Bank, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, Office of Limited Partnerships of Lagos Ministry of Justice, 3wise
Magazine, Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), Fate Foundation, Naij,
Bellanaija, Jobberman, School of Media and Communication of Pan-Atlantic
University and US-Nigeria Trade Council. The Special Guest of Honour was the
former Chairman of Eco Bank, Chief John Odeyemi FCA, MFR.
This exhibition promises to
be even bigger and better. The Special Guest of Honour is Her Excellency, Mrs.
Adejoke Orelope-Adefuluire, Deputy Governor of Lagos State. Other guests
include Mrs. Olusola Oworu, Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry;
Mrs. Kemi Nelson, former Commissioner for Women Affairs; Professor Oye
Ibidapo-Obe, board member, Jim Ovia Foundation; Mrs. Susan Oyemade, former MD
Forever Living Nigeria; Allie Morse, former board member Canadian National
Committee for UN Women and Co-founder, Lamudi.com.ng and many other top female
CEOs and Government Officials.
According to the Executive Director
of Youth Enterprise Exhibition (YEEX) Nigeria, Mr. Tayo Adedugbe, other
benefits would include a one-on-one networking session with the dignitaries and
free entrepreneurial training for 150 young women on business financing.
Exhibitors would also have a chance to get financing for their business from
YEEX’ financial partners and an opportunity for their products to be listed on
Jumia.com for more sales.

be available to inspire the participants and audience.
