A number of people have been killed in an explosion at a Mitsubishi materials plant in central Japan.
Police say those injured have been taken to hospital.
The cause of the blast in the Mie prefecture is unknown, Mitsubishi say they are investigating the incident.
Emergency services say the fire has been extinguished.
