The talented director told Diamond Celebrities, his birthday bash was nothing elaborate but a quite celebration within the family circle. The Anambra born director wished himself: “Strength to carry on! God’s grace! Long life! Wisdom and proper direction!!!
Teco Benson came into the movie industry in 1994 as an actor. He later ventured into script writing; editing and directing in 1997.He had a first degree in Public Health, and a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies. Part of the federal government delegation via the Nigerian Film Corporation, he represented Nollywood in Ghana in 2005, as well as being a part of the five-man delegation that represented Nigeria at the 32nd Cairo International Film Festival.
In 2006, his movie Explosion was chosen to represent Nollywood in Israel.
Teco has directed lots of other great movies which include: the fake prophet, mission to nowhere, Red Hot and many others. You can also watch his recent wave-making movie ‘Accident’ with Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Kalu Ikeagwu and others..
