GEJ accepts US offer to help locate and rescue abducted girls

A statement released by presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati on his website, says Pres. Jonathan has accepted the assistance of the US Government offer to send US security personnel to help in effort to locate and rescue abducted girls. Statement below...

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Tuesday welcomed and accepted a definite offer of help from the United States of America in the ongoing effort to locate and rescue the girls abducted from the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok three weeks ago.

The offer from President Barack Obama which was conveyed to President Jonathan by the United States Secretary of State, Mr. John Kerry in a telephone conversation which began at 15.30 Hours today, includes the deployment of U.S. security personnel and assets to work with their Nigerian counterparts in the search and rescue operation. Franklin Njoku, pictured above, a Senior School Certificate Examination candidate who rented a room in a house belonging to one Mr Eze, is currently in police custody after he lured his landlord's four-year-old daughter into the bush, defiled the little girl,  murdered her then hanged her on a dwarf palm tree near their house.

Nigerian Tribune reports that Franklin Njoku, aged 18 years from Ohekelem in Ngorokpala Local Government Area of the state was in Uvuru community to sit for the ongoing West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) at Aboh Mbaise Secondary School, Uvuru.

Since Njoku’s village is quite a distance from Uvuru, his parents decided to rent a room to reduce the
stress of having to commute between the two communities on a daily basis. Njoku was able to secure accommodation in Eze’s compound. The Ezes received Njoku with open hands as one of their tenants. He became close to all members of the family, including the late 4 year old Gloria.

Gunmen Snatch School Bus In Nyanya Abuja

A school bus belonging to a private school this morning, 6^th of May, 2014 has been snatched in Nyanya, Abuja by gunmen. The school bus belongs to The Vine International Academy and we can tell you it was a robbery and the bus was not hijacked, as it was earlier reported.

Parents in Nyanya and other neighbouring communities after the hijack rumour, dashed to schools to pick their children and all efforts made by the school authorities to convince them all was well, fell on parents deaf ears, as no one was willing to allow their children stay back in school.

Human part dealers in Sango Ota area of Ogun State have been arrested after some police men who picked interest in the case posed as buyers. The policemen said they got so much interested in the case because a lot of people suddenly became missing in the community. Their investigation latter led to the arrest of the ritualists. Salami, who was paraded with three others, Rasheed Tantoloun, Mohammed Yusuf and Waheed Ibrahim, was arrested in Joju area of Sango Ota.

They were arrested with one human head, intestine, bones, liver, kidney and other parts on April 12, 2014.

Narrating how she got into the business, Salami said:

“I have been into this business for just a year. I sell agbo (herb) for a living and I have three children, my first born is 30-years-old.

Man dies during sex romp with Student at Ebonyi University"Girls' Hostel

A middle aged man (names withheld), yesterday, died in Abakaliki while having marathon sex with a female student of Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Abakaliki.
According to Vanguard,the incident, it was gathered, happened at the girl’s hostel room near the Presco campus of the university.
Sources at the hostel, where the incident occurred, said the man died in the day time inside the room of the said female student located at Goddy Ogbaga Avenue during a marathon sex with her.
It was gathered that the lover-girl, after the incident, took the body of the deceased to his car before she proceeded to report the incident to the police. She was immediately arrested and is currently helping the police in the investigation of the incident.

                                                       Chinedu Ejikere before he was killed

 

 On the 1^st May 2014, Chinedu Ejikere “Edu or Edu Wondon”, the first son and the breadwinner of his poor family was brutally murdered by the Nigerian Police on Obioma Street, Achara Layout, Enugu after he had just gone over to see a friend from the close by Umunogo/ Obianodo Street where his mum owns a small grocery kiosk.

He was Shot at close range in his chest region in what was apparently an illegal arrest gone wrong.

Mr George Eluka of 16 Amawbia Street, Uwani, Enugu friends with Edu Ejikere initiated the supposed arrest of Edu as they had done a business dealing and Edu was owing him just over 100,000 naira so he went to the police and ordered for Edu’s arrest.

 

While Edu was at Obioma Street, Achara Layout, having gone to see a friend, policemen in plain clothes then attacked him. They handcuffed him and started beating him up, and in trying to put him in the car, one of the policemen tried to poke him with a loaded gun and it fired.

What then transpired after he was shot was an act of inhumanity.

Bill Gates is Sponsoring Boko Haram Insurgency In Nigeria ?

The Global Prolife Alliance (GPA) Council has identified American billionaire, Bill Gates as a major foreign sponsor of the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria’s North East region. Speaking with journalists in Owerri, the chairman of the GPA, Dr. Philip Njemanze disclosed that Gates and Monsanto were sponsoring the insurgency in the region using their biotechnology companies.

According to him, the major aim of the insurgency was to capture the food security of Nigeria and control Africa’s largest nation by population and economy, adding that this could only be possible by fighting to displace the indigenous farmers in the country and replace them with Genetically Modified Organisms, GMOs corporate farms in the North East food basket region of Nigeria.

Njemanze, revealed that the name Boko Haram was only used as a cover-up in the terrorism attacks, saying that the actual perpetrators were hired assassins and mercenaries by the Blackwater (also called Xe-Service, and now Academi) private army owned by Gates and Mosanto. He disclosed that Blackwater which was purchased in 2009, “began the recruitment of former child soldiers from Liberia and Sierra-Leone of what remained of Charles Taylor’s army in Liberia” and trained them in Ougadougou in Burkina Faso despite the ban of the company by President Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia.

Former governor of Lagos State, Sir Michael Otedola dies

Former Lagos State governor and father of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, Sir Michael Agbolade Otedola, has passed away. He died today May 5th of a stroke related ailment. He was 87 years old.

Otedola was Lagos State governor from 1992 to 1993. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

After the kidnap over over 270 girls on April 14th ,Boko Haram has claimed responsibility .Abubakar Shekau, leader of Boko Haram,has said he will sell the kidnapped Chibok girls in a video obtained by French news agency AFP,  usually the first to lay hands on  Boko Haram Videos...
In the video, Shekau declares:

 'I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah.'

FG blocks Sanusi from travelling abroad; seizes his passport again

According to reports, the Nigerian government have blocked suspended Central Bank of Nigeria governor Lamido Sanusi Lamido from traveling out of the country and have also seized his passport

Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services, SSS, on Saturday night blocked the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, from boarding a Turkish airline flight for a planned trip to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, a witness and a spokesperson for Mr. Sanusi have told Premium Times.

Operatives of the SSS based at the Aminu Kano International Airport also seized Mr. Sanusi’s passport and told him they would not allow him to travel abroad unless they received clearance from their Abuja headquarters.

Some of my relatives lived for decades in the North, in Kano and Bornu. They spoke fluent Hausa. (One relative taught me, at the age of eight, to count in Hausa.) They made planned visits to Anambra only a few times a year, at Christmas and to attend weddings and funerals. But sometimes, in the wake of violence, they made unplanned visits.

We are experiencing what is, apart from the Biafran war, the most violent period in our nation’s existence. Like many Nigerians, I am distressed about the students murdered in their school, about the people whose bodies were spattered in Nyanya, about the girls abducted in Chibok. I am furious that politicians are politicizing what should be a collective Nigerian mourning, a shared Nigerian sadness.

And I find our president’s actions and non-actions unbelievably surreal.

Nigeria Received Millions Of Dollars From US Government To Fight Boko Haram

                           

The United States Government has assisted Nigeria to the tune of $20 Million or N3.176 billion in form of military funding assistance to fight terrorism dating back to 2012, according to the US State Department officials.

According to Sahara Reporters, the substantial amount in assistance has been largely under-reported, although it is a small amount in relative to the huge amount the U.S. has spent in other countries fighting terrorism.

It was also gathered that ‘back channel’ discussions with Nigerian officials have been ‘stepped-up’ since the car bomb attack at Nyanya motor park in Abuja on April 15th, 2014.

The media outlet reported that a State Department official, who did want to be identified, revealed that several details of the talks and thinking inside the agency have been going on but not widely reported.

It was also stated that the State Department’s Under Secretary, Wendy Sherman, has discussed the Boko Haram matter with the Nigerian Foreign Minister in a meeting on April 16.

British Airways Plane Makes Emergency Landing As Nigerian Woman Gives Birth At 36,000ft

A plane flying from Nigeria to London had to make an emergency landing on a Spanish island when a woman gave birth in business class.

Ujunwa Eneh Ozeh, who turned 31 yesterday, went into labour at 36,000 feet while flying from her home town of Abuja, Nigeria's capital, to London Heathrow, despite only being 26 weeks pregnant.

The pilot of the British Airways flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Palme de Mallorce, in the Balearic Islands, where the mother and baby, who has been called Michael, were rushed to the island's Son Espases hospital.

While Mrs Ozeh will be discharged on Monday, Michael is currently in the intensive care unit and will remain in hospital until August, around his original due date, so he can develop properly.

Mrs Ozeh said: 'I don't have any other option than to stay here on the island. My baby needs me to just hang in there for him until it is safe for him to come home with me.'

The mother-of-two was travelling with her one-year-old daughter Nnedinma and was planning to catch a connecting flight from London to Washington, USA, where she was taking the little girl for vacation.

Asari-Dokubo dares Boko Haram leader

                    

The leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has dared Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, to be prepared to meet him on the battle field.

Asari-Dokubo, who dismissed the threat by the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, against President Goodluck Jonathan, warned that 2015 would be “more than do-or-die.”

The Niger Delta region former fighter, who spoke Thursday night during a strategic partnership session with former militant leaders organised  by the Niger Delta Development Commission, recalled how Shekau threatened that the violent Islamic sect would soon come for President Jonathan.

Asari-Dokubo cautioned that the people of Niger Delta would not be deterred by any threat to them or President Jonathan and added that the 2015 election remained a challenge to the survival of the people of the region.

He said, “They are starting oo! Shekau (Boko Haram leader) said in his video that we should not play with them. He said ‘Goodluck, I am coming for you. Niger Delta, we are coming for you.’ Are we going to allow them? They will shoot the guns; throw the bombs and that is when we will dance.

She was last heard from on Monday 28th April 2014. She was said to be coming to school to commence her examination. 

She called one of her friend that she was coming to school but since that day, no one has heard from her and she never made it to school .

 Her phone number has  not been  reachable since that day and its been 5 days now, no one has been able to reach her. Here is her photo ,it is not that clear but i  will get you another one when i see.
