Yaya Toure Wins The African footballer of the year in the Glo Caf 2013 Awards

 

The event  took place today in Lagos, was compered by our Nigerian ex-footballer Sunday Oliseh and South African TV journalist Carol Shabalala has come to an end and the winners are :
Best national team of the year - Nigeria
Youth national team of the year - Nigeria under-17
Best club of the year - Al ahyi
Fair play awards - Nigerian supporters
Coach of the year - Stephen Okechukwu Keshi
Most promising talent award - Kelechi Iheanacho
Referee of the year - Hamoundou Djamel
Legend awards - Mehdi Ferai
African footballer of the year based in Africa - Mohamed Aboudrieka
African footballer of the year - Yaya Toure

Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has won his third Confederation African Football (CAF) title in a row. The Ivorian who has been on a top-notch form recently won BBC African Footballer of the Year award, held in December 2013.
