Short Story: Lucy Was Raped … Aftermath

Lucy woke up in the morning with pains all over and bloodstained pant, call Charity, she screamed and started questioning her, but Lucy can`t remember anything, she wasn't even aware of when or how it happened, Charity asked her to go and bath, Lucy did and nothing else was done until months later.

The foster mom was around, Charity told the stories as if Lucy was dis-virgined outside the house, Lucy was flogged to say the truth of an incident that she can’t even remember, everyone was told about Lucy losing her virginity at 6 years, it was a life shame for Lucy, everyone looked at her as the girl that has started going after men, no one questioned the boys in the house.

After the screaming and beating, everything returned to normal, the rapist started coming again, because they never stop, Lucy decides not to scream or tell anyone, she decides to sleep with a short knife from a key-holder, as he came in thinking that Lucy was asleep, he removed her pant, then Lucy stabbed him in the face and he ran away as he couldn’t scream, 

In the morning, a Saturday morning, Lucy started looking for the one with the mark only to find-out it was the foster mom’s son who is already above 18 as at that time.

She rushed to tell Charity that the culprit has been found only for Charity to scold her that she shouldn’t talk loud, Lucy questioned why not, but everyone is aware of this why hide it now, Charity replied because he is the son of Madam.

But finally, no one questioned him, No apology was given instead Lucy was asked to Stop bathing outside,  and Madam’s son was sent to the boarding school .
