Belgium agrees to welcome Laurent Gbagbo on its territory. This was announced on Wednesday evening by the Ivorian Minister of Youth Promotion, Mamadou Toure, who is also the deputy spokesperson of the RHDP.
The ICC judges on Wednesday rejected the request for detention of Laurent Gbagbo and Charles Blé Goudé. The prosecutor has appealed this decision and requests that this appeal be suspensive.
The Appeals Chamber will meet soon enough to decide whether the orderly release this afternoon should be suspended or not.
